Delivery Driver - Salisbury Area

Holt Paper Co. in Salisbury, MD is actively seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to service the Salisbury, MD area.  This individual will distribute food service and janitorial products safely and in a timely fashion to customers throughout Salisbury, MD. Attention to detail, safety, and efficiency is the key to success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Follows route and time schedule to ensure timely deliver of products to customers
  • Unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle safely
  • Collect payments for deliveries
  • Complete logs and trip reports accurately
  • Complies with DOT regulations as well as company safety standards
  • Communicates with customer service and supervisor when there are issues
  • Represent the company in a professional and cost effective manner that leads to customer satisfaction

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Proven work experience as a delivery driver
  • Ability to operate a handcart and pallet jack safely
  • Ability to handle a tractor trailer in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Good driving record

Day Warehouse Receiver/Stocker

Holt Paper Co. in Salisbury, MD is accepting applications for a Warehouse Receiver/ Stocker for our Daytime Warehouse.  This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring all inbound freight and products that arrive at Holt are unloaded, sorted, and stored correctly.  Attention to detail and efficiency is the key to success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and/or stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment necessary to perform the job at hand
  • Keep receiving area, warehouse shelves, and aisles clear, clean and organized
  • Obligated and trained to work in all areas of the warehouse which include, but are not limited to: Dry Dock, Cooler and Freezer
  • Complete all relative records and paper work given to the employee and redistribute them as necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Safely operating a pallet jack and forklift around a warehouse
  • Ability to work in seasonal temperatures
  • Must be able to handle heavy weighted items
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service
  • Able to stand for several hours throughout the day
  • Must be able to work effectively with other employees and report to the manager as necessary

Daytime Order Selector

Holt Paper & Chemical Co. in Salisbury, MD is accepting applications for a Daytime Order Selector to assist with daytime warehouse operations.  This individual will be responsible for pulling and picking products from different stock locations to build customer pickup orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Using a pallet jack and/or forklift, Selectors receive direction either through pick labels or load worksheets that guide them to the appropriate product to pull and pick in the warehouse
  • Pull products from appropriate location for customer order pickups
  • Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as are apparent or assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Safely operating a pallet jack and/or forklift around a warehouse
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in seasonal temperatures
  • Must be able to handle heavy weighted items up to 75 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed in order to provide exception customer service
  • Able to stand for several hours throughout the day
  • Must be able to work effectively with other employees and report to the manager as necessary
  • Most importantly, a friendly and positive attitude is needed

Holt Paper Co. in Salisbury, MD is accepting applications for Night Order Selectors for nighttime Warehouse operations.  This individual is at the forefront of Holt's distribution operations.  Responsibilities include but not limited to correctly selecting and pulling products to be loaded onto Holt Trucks for delivery to our many loyal customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:   Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Unload, pick, stage, and/or prepare products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment for truck deliveries.
  • Keep receiving area, warehouse shelves, and aisles clear, clean and organized
  • Obligated and trained to work in all areas of the warehouse which include, but are not limited to: Dry Dock, Cooler and Freezer
  • Complete all relative records and paper work given to the employee and redistribute them as necessary
